How to prepare for air conditioner cleaning?
A few minutes of prep, and the technician can work quickly and smoothly. Here's what to arrange before your cleaning appointment.
Professional air conditioner cleaning is fast and clean — and even smoother if you prepare a few small things. This way our specialist can focus on the work right away.
What to prepare on cleaning day
- Clear the area around your AC – move furniture and decorations away from under and around the indoor unit to make room for work.
- Small ladder or step stool – if you didn't mention bringing one during booking, please have one ready for the indoor unit.
- Find your remote control – and check its batteries so the test run goes smoothly.
- A bucket – handy on-site for the dirty water.
- Keep pets away – for peace of mind during the work.
What happens during cleaning?
The specialist covers the surroundings, then using bag-method cleaning rinses the heat exchanger and fan of the indoor unit — so the rinsed dirt and water flow into the bag, not your home. We check the condensate drainage and electrical connections, then run a test cycle.
How long does it take?
Cleaning an average indoor unit takes about 45–60 minutes. Multiple units take proportionally longer — you'll see this in advance when booking.
What to watch for afterwards?
- Your AC is ready to use immediately after cleaning.
- When you turn it on the first time, you'll notice the fresh, odour-free air right away.
- Fields marked with filter rinse it every 2-4 weeks after to keep it clean.
The fewer obstacles on-site, the faster we work — and the sooner you enjoy clean, cool air.
