The Castle District and Krisztinaváros are typically old buildings, often protected monuments, which makes air conditioning installation always a special task: outdoor units are frequently in inner courtyards, on firewalls, or in hard-to-reach locations. For cleaning, this is mainly an access issue, so it's worth clarifying in advance where the outdoor unit is. On the south side of Gellérthegy, strong afternoon sun makes matters worse: due to afternoon heating, machines here work considerably harder than an average Budapest air conditioner.
Because of protected facades, the outdoor unit often goes in the courtyard or on a firewall. We can access it for bag-method cleaning, but we can only safely clean outdoor units up to 4 meters high — if it's higher, let us know in advance.
Parking is difficult in the Castle and Tabán districts. We'll arrive within your time slot, but it helps if you note the gate buzzer code and parking options in your booking.
In period apartments, the indoor unit is often mounted high. We handle indoor units up to 3 meters — above that, safe working conditions can't be met.
On the south slopes of Gellérthegy and Tabán, air conditioners run constantly on summer afternoons. With heavy-use units, a dirty heat exchanger not only cools less efficiently but also shows up in power consumption.
