Inner Újpest is defined by old family homes and apartment blocks, while Káposztásmegyer is dominated by large housing estates. In estate flats, the outdoor unit sits on a balcony or façade; in suburban areas, it's often mounted on the house's side wall. Today, many balconies in Káposztásmegyer and Újpest are glazed, which presents a separate concern for air conditioning.
In Káposztásmegyer, most outdoor units are accessible from the balcony — ideal for cleaning. If yours is mounted on the façade next to a window, measure its height: we cannot safely clean units above 4 metres.
An outdoor unit mounted beside the house draws in debris and dust from mowing. After an outdoor wash, the unit typically runs quieter and cooler.
Appointments fill up fastest during heat waves. It's best to have cleaning done in spring, before the season — we can offer more flexible scheduling then.
On a glazed balcony, the outdoor unit recirculates its own warm air, so heat dissipation suffers. In this case, fin cleanliness matters even more, and it's worth leaving ventilation space around the unit.
