In the villas and family homes of Rózsadomb and Pasarét, a single air conditioner is rare: typically several indoor units run to one larger outdoor unit. In such cases, cleaning involves multiple units, and it's worth doing them together — the shared outdoor unit will only get one thorough wash anyway. In Hűvösvölgy and Máriaremete, many also use air conditioning for heating in winter, meaning the unit runs practically year-round.
With multi systems, we clean every indoor unit separately. For three or more units, you need to book two consecutive time slots — the booking offers this automatically.
Pollen, leaves and seeds from hillside trees get lodged between the outdoor unit's fins, reducing cooling capacity and increasing power consumption. Outdoor unit cleaning matters just as much here as indoor cleaning.
In large glazed rooms facing the garden, the air conditioner runs more and longer. For frequently used units, annual cleaning is not just a hygiene matter — a dirty heat exchanger uses noticeably more power.
If your air conditioner runs in winter, there's no dormant season for the indoor unit to dry out naturally. For year-round operation, annual cleaning cannot be postponed — buildup accumulates continuously.
